The Multilingual Internet Initiative (MII)

The Multilingual Internet Initiative (MII) is a private-business driven initiative established under the Arab Management and Knowledge Society (AKMS) and led by a Board of founding members who represent a variety of stakeholders in the Arab world yet they contribute to this effort as individual experts. AKMS has launched MII in mid 2007 in partnership with the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN).
